Understanding Your Pool Automation & Controls
The brain of your pool is its control system. Modern custom pools are designed for ease of use, allowing you to manage everything from a central panel or even your smartphone.
Switching Modes: Learn how to toggle between "Pool Mode" and "Spa Mode" to divert heat and water flow.
Setting Timers: Proper circulation is the secret to a healthy pool. We recommend running your pump for 8–12 hours a day during peak Florida summers.
Lighting & Water Features: Use your controls to set the mood by activating LED lighting, bubblers, or waterfalls.
Essential Cleaning & Circulation
A clean pool is a happy pool. Following a consistent schedule prevents algae and reduces chemical costs.
Skimming & Brushing: Skim the surface every few days to remove leaves. Brush the walls and tile line weekly to prevent calcium buildup and algae spores from taking root.

Filter Maintenance 101

Perfect water chemistry protects your swimmers and your pool’s finish. Test your water at least once a week for the following levels:
pH Level: Should stay between 7.4 and 7.6.
Chlorine/Sanitizer: Maintain 1.0–3.0 ppm to keep bacteria at bay.
Alkalinity: Keep this between 80–120 ppm to act as a buffer for your pH.
Pro Tip: Always add chemicals to water, never water to chemicals, and keep the pump running while you balance the pool.
